Planning Ahead - Updated

This is the board for brainstorming and planning ahead our upcoming meetings. This is the tentative schedule. But of course we're all open to suggestions. The only thing to keep in mind is consistency and the purpose of our group.

Sept 29th - Indu's place from 10 am to noon

Oct 6th - Indu's place from 10 am to noon.
BTW, IPRC's Text Ball is at 7pm to 11pm. Sounds really fun but I unfortunately can't make it because work.

Oct 13th - Indu's place OR canceling the meeting for Wordstock. Wordstock is going on this weekend. I was wondering if you all are interested in going. We could cancel this meeting just for this week for wordstock.

Oct 20th - Indu won't be in town. I'll be at a work conference all day and can't skype. How about meeting at the bagel shop? (or alternative location) Use the comment section to discuss rather than a new thread.

Oct 27th - Indu's place. It's halloween so maybe a halloween theme. If we're having a special event such as a halloween creative event, may I suggest planning it ahead of time.

  1. Perhaps for Oct. 27, since it's close to Halloween we could dress in costumes? We could potentially try one of our characters, although I like the idea of showing off my dressy gown and being a Medieval lady.
(I'm confused that it's not giving me the option for this post of using my Blogspot name, after I went through all the trouble of making an account. Or is that the Google identity? That's the one I'm trying, so we'll see what happens. Just in case it post as Anonymous, this is Robin, not that famous poet Anon.

    1. Hi Robin!

Thanks for posting, and that would be very cool to dress up as our characters. I vote Katie dresses up as her pirate captain! :D

I'll probably end up dressing as the character from the story Katie wants me to finish. [Katie: I'm working on it! I'll get it done. I promise~!]

BTW, writing on demand is hard... :P So many distractions!

No, that's your Google account/Blogger account. It came up correctly! :)

It would be fun to see you dressed as a Medieval lady--but, not a lady from the game Medieval! ;)

Um... we could talk to Paul about holding an event on the 27th, and having our meeting at the church. That way, we could invite writers to come and join in. I know you said you enjoyed yourselves. I don't know if Liz would be interested in attending. Unless you happen to know a better location to hold a dress party?

It sounds like we may be having a writing all hallows eve ball in the works! :P
